The answer is no on both accounts. You can travel on any day of the week (subject to flight restrictions) for any period from 1 day to a month, the choice is yours. We will tailor your exact travel requirements all you need to do is ask.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I'VE MADE MY BOOKING?
We will send you a confirmation invoice showing all your holiday details and price. Please check the details of the holiday, the spelling of the names, titles and first initials of all who are traveling to ensure these are correct. Please notify us in writing (fax/e-mail are acceptable) within 48 hours if they are not. Any subsequent alterations to the names, which should also be advised to us in writing, will be charged at a minimum of £20.

WHEN IS THE BALANCE DUE ON MY HOLIDAY?
Your final balance is due is 10 weeks prior to departure, this date will be shown at the bottom of your confirmation invoice. If you are departing less than 10 weeks from making your booking we will ask for full payment in respect of your holiday. We do not send reminders prior to payment being due, please send in your cheque by the due date or call our offices to arrange payment by debit / credit card. Please note that there is a 2.0% charge for balances paid by credit-card and no charge for payment by debit card.

ARE MY GOLF TEE-TIMES BOOKED?
Once you have made your booking we will ask you for your preferred dates and times for your golf. Your confirmation invoice will show a summary of your booking. Once we have all your tee-times confirmed we will send a golf letter showing confirmed times. We may need to change around the days / courses you have requested to fit in with availability; this will be advised to you in our golf letter. If you are unhappy with any of the times or days we will only be too pleased to change the booking to suit your needs. This will all be advised to you as part of our golf letter. If a course is unavailable we will offer you a suitable alternative.

HOW SHOULD I DRESS ON THE GOLF COURSE?
As in the UK, all courses require a certain standard of dress, so they do not allow jeans, trainers or t-shirts and football shirts are a hanging offence. Tailored shorts and shirts with collars are required on most courses. If you would like to discuss the dress-code please call us on 0800 043 6110 or email sales@bluebaygolf.co.uk

ARE THERE ANY HANDICAP LIMITS ON THE GOLF COURSES?
The majority of the courses do indeed have a handicap limits. We always ask you for your handicaps at the time of booking. If you have any questions please contact us to discuss handicap limits.

WILL I NEED TO TAKE A HANDICAP CERTIFICATE?
Many of the courses state that a handicap certificate must be shown prior to play. Although they do not always check these, we advise that you do take a certificate with you as you may be refused play if you do not produce this. In such circumstances there is no refund of your green fee. If you do not have a certificate this is an area where we can help the occasional golfer and would ask you to call us on 0800 043 6110 to clarify your position before you travel.

If you haven't time to get a certificate then get a written confirmation from your local pro or club secretary, stating that your playing ability is between 0 and 24 and this will be accepted at most courses.

SOLO GOLFERS
Solo players have no standing and are deemed to practicing and as such must let groups through. It is best to choose a quiet course and try to play after 12am. One good solution should you not wish to be a solo golfer is to ask us when you book and we can try and get you tee times with other golfers. Or you could stay in a golf resort where it may be possible to pair up with other golfers.

TEE TIMES
If you want to play before 8am or after 2pm then the chances are you will be able to play at the times you like. If you don't book your golf a year in advance the chances are that you will have to compromise on the times and courses you play. So please bear this in mind if you are booking your golf a month before you go.

BAD WEATHER
Even in the hottest resorts it does have a tendency to rain. If the rain ends up being a serious thunder storm then it id more than likely the course will be closed. Unfortunately it is only when a course is closed do the golf courses offer a refund. If the course is open and it is simply raining they offer no refund and just let you get wet.

DO I NEED SOFT SPIKES?
Most courses require soft spikes to be worn, so we recommend that you take these. Some courses offer a spike-changing facility which can be requested and paid for locally. Most courses offer golf shoe hire if this is a particular problem.

ARE BUGGIES AVAILABLE?
Buggies are always available for hire. Most courses have so many buggies they don't allow them to be booked as there is always availability. If you specifically require buggies booked prior to your arrival we will advise you which course allow pre-booking and arrange this for you.

WILL I BE CHARGED BY THE AIRLINE FOR CARRIAGE OF MY GOLF CLUBS?
Most airlines levy an extra charge for golf club carriage. Please check with us before your flight is booked. Some airlines do not charge for carriage and we can advise you of these. We always detail on our quotes and invoices if golf club carriage has been included. Do not get caught out by less reputable companies adding it on at a later date.

WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE?
Unfortunately we can not guarantee the weather for your holiday. So we recommend looking on the web for the latest predictions we use http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/ before we travel.

IS THERE A CHARGE FOR ADDITIONAL DRIVERS?
If you have selected car hire as part of your overall holiday then this will normally cover one driver per vehicle. If you require more than one driver per vehicle this can be arranged when you collect the car and is subject to a small local charge.

WHAT IF I HAVE A PROBLEM WHILE I'M ON HOLIDAY?
We have local representatives in most resorts. Details on how to contact our representatives will be given to you when you arrive at your destination airport. If you have a problem that can't be sorted please call 0800 043 6110. Please please try and sort out your problem while you are in your resort it is far more difficult to sort out problems once you have returned to the UK.

WHAT ABOUT DRIVING DIRECTIONS?
Travel directions from the airport to your resort are either sent to you with your tickets or given to you by our representative when you arrive at your destination airport.

WHAT ABOUT A PASSPORT?
The majority of countries now require you to have at least 6 months left on your passport prior to entry. For further UK passport information please contact http://www.ukpa.gov.uk

ANYTHING ELSE?
Just in case we have not covered everything here please give us a call on 0800 043 6110 and ask about it. It is better to sort out any issues you may have before you make your booking.
