For great nightlife head towards Playa de Las Americas with its vast array of bars, restaurants and clubs. Don't forget to visit Veronicas, which is an area just covered in bars and clubs. It is a perfect base for the gofer who wants to mix golf and nightlife.

For a quieter time then head for Golf del Sur with its more laid back nightlife but with as many bars and restaurants as any golfers would desire. The resort is only a short distance from the airport and as such at certain times of the week does have some aircraft noise. From Golf del Sur it is only a short walk to the main commercial area of San Blas. The restaurants there are all very reasonable and there is a good selection of bars set around a lively square. If you're feeling really energetic why not sample the Taboo Club where you can party till 4am
