Built in 1979 and designed by Angel Gallardo and Peter Allis, Playa Serena is a mainly flat course with small sloping greens, most of which are protected by sand and water traps.
Situated right on the coast and home to a wide variety of exotic, migratory birds, it has winds that bear from the East and West which make the course a considerable challenge. The 18 holes are varied and enjoyable; requiring shots of precision and skill. The clubhouse offers a superb bar and restaurant, shops, swimming pool and also buggies, clubs and carts for hire.
