Nuevo Portil was designed by Alfonso Vidaor and was opened in 2001. It is located near the beach and is set in an area of exceptional beauty with coastal lagoons, dunes and overlooks the Natural Park of 'Marismas del Piedras' and 'Flecha de El Rompido'.
The course has wide fairways, several doglegs and gentle greens, making it a pleasant course to walk around.
