These are complemented superbly by an elegant and comfortably appointed colonial-style clubhouse and David Leadbetter Golf Academy that includes a 6-hole par-three "executive" course. The fairways are of Bermuda grass, Pencross grass greens and bunkers of crushed marble, which make the golf courses at La Cala very inviting. The spectacular views also add to the enjoyment of this course. The new course (Europa) which is an excellent addition to the original 2 courses, as stressed by course designer Cabell B Robinson 'is not only dramatic, but will also be easier for the average golfer. The fairways are generous from the tees and the greens are slightly larger than on the existing courses'.
